This album is the soundtrack to Matt Barry's experimental feature film, Hammitt (2024), about an independent filmmaker who travels to Baltimore to interview the reclusive author Charles David Hammitt about celebrated crime novelist Dashiell Hammett, but when Hammitt goes missing, the filmmaker realizes he might have been chasing the wrong mystery the whole time.
